Respiratory Therapist - On-call

The respiratory therapist provides therapy services to our customers to meet their respiratory needs. Duties include set up and instruction on the proper use of respiratory equipment including oxygen concentrators and liquid oxygen, Bi-level, CPAPs, ventilators, humidity, suction, and pediatric. In addition, respiratory therapists must facilitate oximetry studies, assess customer's respiratory care and compliance, and continually monitor customer's satisfaction with equipment and supplies. The schedule for the position is to work on an on-call or as needed basis.

Minimum requirements for the position:
- Certification by National Board for Respiratory Therapy
- Must be a registered Respiratory Care Practitioner or Certified Respiratory Therapist
- Three or more years of clinical experience
- Knowledge of current industry practices and equipment
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Acceptable motor vehicle record
- Ability to drive for long periods
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds

We are seeking a dynamic individual to represent our company in Eastern Wisconsin. You will be responsible for calling on Nursing Homes, Acute Care Facilities, Sleep Labs and Physicians to promote our services. Qualified candidates will have a successful track record in sales to the health care industry, particularly Long Term Care. A Respiratory Therapy background is a plus. Rochester, MN

Service Technician

The service technician ensures safe delivery, setup, and use of oxygen and related equipment. Duties include loading/unloading trucks and delivering oxygen equipment to customers in their home or long term care facility. In addition, service technicians must maintain a thorough understanding of the proper use, safety, and maintenance of all equipment and be able to educate customers in the safe and proper use of that equipment.

St. Paul Branch: The position is full time, with day and evening shifts, and some on-call time required. Work weeks generally are Monday through Friday, but we occasionally need alternative schedules. However, these positions would still provide the opportunity to change schedules as an opening arises.

All Other Branches: The position is full time Monday through Friday, with some on-call time required.

Minimum requirements for the position:
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Be able to obtain a commercial driver's licenseĀ 
- Pass a DOT physical
- Acceptable motor vehicle record
- Undergo required background check
- Must be able to repetitively lift up to 160 pounds
- Ability to drive up to 10 hours per day

Insurance Verification Specialist

Insurance Verification Specialist Northwest Respiratory Services, a market leader in home oxygen and respiratory services, has an opportunity available in our Customer Service department. We are looking for a team member who is detail oriented with high quality phone skills. Applicant must be organized, with excellent keyboarding skills and the ability to multi-task. Previous insurance and billing verification experience within the health care field is required. The ideal candidate should be seeking advancement from insurance verification to customer service representative. Responsibilities: Verifies client insurance coverage via the Internet as well as by outbound calls to facilities and insurance companies. Efficient and accurate data entry of insurance information to complete DME orders for processing. The position is full time Monday through Friday. We offer a competitive wage and benefits package.
